Today we made gif pictures which are graphic image files. Some advantages are: they can be animated, they work with all browsers and they can do transparency. However, they have lower quality then other types such as jpg or png types.
Tomorrow I will learn how to export the gif animations I made today.

Question: What progress was made today on your solution? What needs to be done next class?
Today I finished up my color worksheet and started messing around in fireworks 8 making some logos and such. So far I've only made one. Next class i need to make some more graphics and complete the worksheet for making the web page.

Today, in website Design...
Question: How did you use a particular command that will help jog your memory in the future?
In an external css page, you simple use the name of the tag in front of { and then specify the parameters you want to change. The only except I have found for this rule so far is links. With links you must type link, then a colon and what type of link. After that you close the bracket (}) and start a new one if needed.

Finished the final touches on my CSS file and web page which included adding a table and fixing some small typing errors. Finished the project and turned it in before the end of class.

Today, in website Design...
Question: What choices did you face in developing your solution, and how did you choose them?
Today I had to create an external CSS file to determine the style of any number of web pages with the link code to that page. I had to choose various colors, sizes, fonts, pictures for anything from heading tags to the background layout. I tried to keep some of the colors and sizes uniform, but sometimes I just chose random values for the sake of making it different. I also experimented with a picture background for links which didn't turn out as well as I had hoped but has potential for a cool design.
